About This Game

Mix Universe is a unique musical sandbox game that puts you in the role of a Mixonaut tasked with generating beautifully good vibes throughout the universe.
As you explore the game, you’ll discover various ways to connect and create original mixes that radiate good vibes. These mixes can be shared with other Mixonauts through the Steam Workshop, and you can collaborate with others over time to create a truly positive and uplifting experience.

Key Features

• Create many different nodes and connect them together to play sounds and visuals.
• Sounds can be chosen from a variety of built in libraries (Piano, Drums, Space Strings, Synths, and More)
• Sounds can be altered by adding elements to them (Volume, Duration, Attack, Pitch, LFO, Filtering, Reverb, Delay, High Pass, Low Pass, Bit Crush, and More)
• Nodes can be moved, rotated, scaled, and snapped to a grid.
• Fully functional undo and redo system.
• Full Steam Workshop integration for saving and sharing mixes.
• Aimed to be friendly to those who are new to music and music creation. This has room for improvement, but is a core pillar of the game that will constantly evolve over time!

Adding elements is as simple as clicking and dragging onto the nodes directly.

Nodes with rings can can have elements on them that affect all nodes in the ring

After a mix is made you can save that and upload it to the steam workshop directly in-game to share with the community workshop. Then others can open up what you make, play it and potentially use it for inspiration to start something they create!

DISCLAIMER: Mix Universe is NOT a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) and also is not intended to be used for live performances. The features required to do so are beyond the scope and vision of this game. Mixes currently cannot be exported to any raw musical format for sale, however you are free to take videos and share the content on various social media platforms.
